The bachelor’s degree in Africana Studies is an interdisciplinary major focusing on the experiences of Africa-descended populations worldwide, especially in Africa, North America, the Caribbean, South America, and Europe. Its comprehensive liberal arts curriculum emphasizes culture, history, social policy, health entrepreneurship, social justice and social responsibility. The curriculum prepares students for career in the private and public sectors, and offers critical liberal arts education for lifelong personal growth.
